Dave Harris

Dave Harris (David Stanley Harris) was born on July 14, 1900 in Summerfield, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1925 for the Boston Braves. In 1925, his rookie year, he hit .265 with 5 home runs and 36 RBI. Harris played for the Boston Braves, Washington Senators and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that Dave Harris's best season was 1930, when he hit for a .296 average and knocked in 57 runs.
