Dave Hale (David Robert Hale) was born on June 21, 1947 in McCook, Nebraska. After going to high school at Benson (Omaha, NE), Hale attended Ottawa University. Hale made his professional debut in the NFL in 1969 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 4 year career.
