Dave Grannell (David Matthew Grannell) was born on October 4, 1952 in Denver, Colorado. After going to high school at Thomas Jefferson (Denver, CO), Grannell attended Arizona State University. Grannell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 1 year career.
