Born on October 31, 1951 in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, Dave Freisleben (David James Freisleben) played for the San Diego Padres, Cleveland Indians and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 6 year career. Freisleben broke into the bigs on April 26, 1974 with the San Diego Padres, and put up a 3.66 ERA in 211.2 innings pitched in 1974, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Dave Freisleben's best season was 1974, when he posted a 3.66 ERA and struck out 130 batters.
