Dave Duncan

Dave Duncan (David Edwin Duncan) was born on September 26, 1945 in Dallas, Texas. He made his Major League debut on May 6, 1964 for the Kansas City Athletics. In 1968, his rookie year, he hit .191 with 7 home runs and 28 RBI. Duncan played for the Kansas City Athletics, Oakland Athletics, Cleveland Indians and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 11 year career.
Most people believe that Dave Duncan's best season was 1972, when he slugged 19 home runs and knocked in 59 runs.
Currently the pitching coach for the St. Louis Cardinals. Son Chris plays OF for the Cardinals and son Shelley plays OF for the New York Yankees.
