Dave Duerson (David Russell Duerson) was born on November 28, 1960 in Muncie, Indiana. After going to high school at Northside (Muncie, IN), Duerson attended the University of Notre Dame. Duerson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears, Phoenix Cardinals and New York Giants over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that 1986 was Dave Duerson's best year, as he picked off 6 passes and recorded 7 sacks.
