[edit] Biography

Born on February 14, 1956 in Youngstown, Ohio, Dave Dravecky (David Francis Dravecky) played for the San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants over the course of his 8 year career. Dravecky broke into the bigs on June 15, 1982 with the San Diego Padres, and put up a 2.57 ERA in 105 innings pitched in 1982, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Dave Dravecky's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1985, when he posted a 2.93 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 105 batters. However, others believe that it was 1987, when he posted a 3.43 ERA, won 10 games and struck out 138 batters.
