Born on July 7, 1966 in Dayton, Ohio, Dave Burba (David Allen Burba) played for the Seattle Mariners, San Francisco Giants, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Texas Rangers and Milwaukee Brewers over the course of his 15 year career. Burba broke into the bigs on September 8, 1990 with the Seattle Mariners, and put up a 4.97 ERA in 70.2 innings pitched in 1992, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Dave Burba's best season was 2000, when he posted a 4.47 ERA, won 16 games and struck out 180 batters.
