Dave Braden (David E. Thomas Braden) was born on September 27, 1917 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After going to high school at St. John's Cathedral (Milwaukee, WI), Braden attended Marquette University. Braden made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
