Born on January 20, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland, Dave Boswell (David Wilson Boswell) played for the Minnesota Twins, Detroit Tigers and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 8 year career. Boswell broke into the bigs on September 18, 1964 with the Minnesota Twins, and put up a 3.40 ERA in 106 innings pitched in 1965, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Dave Boswell's best season was 1969, when he posted a 3.23 ERA, won 20 games and struck out 190 batters.
