Dave Boone (Humphrey David Boone, Jr.) was born on October 30, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at Cass Tech (Detroit, MI), Boone attended Eastern Michigan University. Boone made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings for his entire 1 year career.
