Dave Bernard (David Edgar Bernard) was born on September 26, 1912 in Jefferson, South Dakota. After going to high school at Central (Sioux City, IA), Bernard attended the University of Mississippi. Bernard made his professional debut in the NFL in 1944 with the Cleveland Rams. He played for the Cleveland Rams for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1945 was Dave Bernard's best year.
