Dave Barrett (David Earl Barrett) was born on September 9, 1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas. After going to high school at Roy Miller (Corpus Christi, TX), Barrett attended the University of Houston. Barrett made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his entire 1 year career.
