Daryle Lamonica (Daryle Pat Lamonica) was born on July 17, 1941 in Fresno, California. After going to high school at Clovis (CA), Lamonica attended the University of Notre Dame. Lamonica made his professional debut in the AFL in 1963 with the Buffalo Bills. He played in the AFL for 7 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 7 year AFL career.Lamonica also played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Oakland Raiders the entire time.
Most people believe that 1969 was Daryle Lamonica's best year, as he threw for 3302 yards and tossed 34 TDs.
