Daryl Sanders (Daryl Theodore Sanders) was born on April 24, 1941 in Canton, Ohio. After going to high school at Mayfield (OH), Sanders attended Ohio State University. Sanders made his professional debut in the NFL in 1963 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1965 was Daryl Sanders's best year.
