Darryl Motley (Darryl DeWayne Motley) was born on January 21, 1960 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He made his Major League debut on August 10, 1981 for the Kansas City Royals. In 1984, his rookie year, he hit .284 with 15 home runs and 70 RBI. Motley played for the Kansas City Royals and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Darryl Motley's best season was 1984, when he slugged 15 home runs, hit for a .284 average and knocked in 70 runs.
