Darryl Grant (Darryl Grant) was born on November 22, 1959 in San Antonio, Texas. After going to high school at Highlands (San Antonio, TX), Grant attended Rice University. Grant made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that 1984 was Darryl Grant's best year, as he recorded 8 sacks, recovered 4 opponents fumbles and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
