Darris Mccord (Darris Paul McCord) was born on January 4, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at Cass (Dertoit)* and Franklin (TN), Mccord attended the University of Tennessee. Mccord made his professional debut in the NFL in 1955 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 13 year career.
Most people believe that 1963 was Darris Mccord's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
