Darren Long (Darren M. Long) was born on July 12, 1959 in Exeter, California. After going to high school at Union (Exeter, CA), Long attended California State University, Long Beach and the College of the Sequoias. Long made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 1 year career.
