Darren Gottschalk (Darren K. Gottschalk) was born on December 1, 1964 in Merced, California. After going to high school at South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA), Gottschalk attended California Lutheran University. Gottschalk made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 1 year career.
