Darrell Whitmore (Darrell Lamont Whitmore) was born on November 18, 1968 in Front Royal, Virginia. He made his Major League debut on June 25, 1993 for the Florida Marlins. In 1993, his rookie year, he hit .204 with 4 home runs and 19 RBI. Whitmore played for the Florida Marlins for his entire 3 year career.
