Born on June 13, 1972 in San Bernardino, California, Darrell May (Darrell Kevin May) played for the Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates, California Angels, Anaheim Angels, Kansas City Royals, San Diego Padres and New York Yankees over the course of his 7 year career. May broke into the bigs on September 10, 1995 with the Atlanta Braves, and put up a 5.23 ERA in 51.2 innings pitched in 1997, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Darrell May's best season was 2003, when he posted a 3.77 ERA, won 10 games and struck out 115 batters.
