Darrell Austin (Kenneth Darrell Austin) was born on November 6, 1951 in Union, South Carolina. After going to high school at Union (SC), Austin attended the University of South Carolina. Austin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 6 year career.
