Born on March 13, 1973 in Santiago, Santiago (Dominican Republic), Dario Veras (Dario Antonio Veras) played for the San Diego Padres and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 3 year career. Veras broke into the bigs on July 31, 1996 with the San Diego Padres.
