Danny Tartabull (Danilo (Mora) Tartabull) was born on October 30, 1962 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He made his Major League debut on September 7, 1984 for the Seattle Mariners. In 1986, his rookie year, he hit .270 with 25 home runs and 96 RBI. Tartabull played for the Seattle Mariners, Kansas City Royals, New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics, Chicago White Sox and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 14 year career.

Most people believe that Danny Tartabull's best season was 1987, when he slugged 34 home runs, hit for a .309 average and knocked in 101 runs.
