Danny Sheaffer (Danny Todd Sheaffer) was born on August 2, 1961 in Jacksonville, Florida. He made his Major League debut on April 9, 1987 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1993, his rookie year, he hit .278 with 4 home runs and 32 RBI. Sheaffer played for the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians, Colorado Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Danny Sheaffer's best season was 1993, when he hit for a .278 average.
