Danny LaRose (Marvin Daniel LaRose) was born on February 8, 1939 in Crystal City, Missouri. After going to high school at Crystal City (MO), LaRose attended the University of Missouri. LaRose made his professional debut in the NFL in 1961 with the Detroit Lions. He played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 5 year NFL career.LaRose also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.

Most people believe that 1962 was Danny LaRose's best year.
