Danny Goodwin (Danny Kay Goodwin) was born on September 2, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on September 3, 1975 for the California Angels. In 1979, his rookie year, he hit .289 with 5 home runs and 27 RBI. Goodwin played for the California Angels, Minnesota Twins and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that Danny Goodwin's best season was 1979, when he hit for a .289 average.
