Danny Colbert (Danny Joel Colbert) was born on December 15, 1950 in Corsicana, Texas. After going to high school at South Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX), Colbert attended the University of Tulsa. Colbert made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1975 was Danny Colbert's best year.
