Danny Buggs (Daniel Buggs) was born on April 22, 1953 in Deluth, Georgia. After going to high school at Avondale (Atlanta, GA), Buggs attended West Virginia University. Buggs made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the New York Giants. He played for the Washington Redskins and New York Giants over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1979 was Danny Buggs's best year, as he hauled in 46 receptions and had 631 receiving yards.
