Danny Ainge (Daniel Ray Ainge) was born on March 17, 1959 in Eugene, Oregon. He made his Major League debut on May 21, 1979 for the Toronto Blue Jays. In 1979, his rookie year, he hit .237 with 2 home runs and 19 RBI. Ainge played for the Toronto Blue Jays for his entire 3 year career.
