Dannie Lockett (Dannie Key Lockett) was born on July 11, 1964 in Fort Valley, Georgia. After going to high school at Peach County (Fort Valley, GA), Lockett attended the College of the Sequoias and the University of Arizona. Lockett made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1987 was Dannie Lockett's best year.
