Daniel Garcia (Daniel Joseph Garcia) was born on April 12, 1980 in Riverside, California. He made his Major League debut on September 2, 2003 for the New York Mets. In 2004, his rookie year, he hit .232 with 3 home runs and 17 RBI. Garcia played for the New York Mets for his entire 2 year career.
