Dan Rogas (Daniel William Rogas) was born on August 9, 1926 in Port Arthur, Texas. After going to high school at Thomas Jefferson (Port Arthur, TX), Rogas attended Tulane University. Rogas made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions over the course of his 2 year career.
