Dan Rains (Daniel Paul Rains) was born on April 26, 1956 in Rochester, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Hopewell (PA), Rains attended the University of Cincinnati. Rains made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1983 was Dan Rains's best year.
