Dan Nugent (Daniel Lawrence Nugent) was born on August 22, 1953 in Mount Clemens, Michigan. After going to high school at Pompano Beach (FL), Nugent attended Auburn University. Nugent made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 4 year career.
