Dan McGann

Dan McGann (Dennis Lawrence McGann) was born on July 15, 1871 in Shelbyville, Kentucky. He made his Major League debut on August 8, 1896 for the Boston Beaneaters. In 1896, his rookie year, he hit .322 with 2 home runs and 30 RBI. McGann played for the Boston Beaneaters, Baltimore Orioles, Washington Senators, Brooklyn Superbas, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Giants and Boston Doves over the course of his 12 year career.
Most people believe that Dan McGann's best season was 1898, when he stole 33 bases, hit for a .301 average and knocked in 106 runs.
