Born on July 31, 1889 in Bowling Green, Ohio, Dan Marion (Donald George Marion) played for the Brooklyn Tip-Tops for his entire 2 year career. Marion broke into the bigs on April 23, 1914 with the Brooklyn Tip-Tops, and put up a 3.93 ERA in 89.1 innings pitched in 1914, his rookie year.
