Dan Grimm (Daniel Jay Grimm) was born on February 7, 1941 in Perry, Iowa. After going to high school at Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA), Grimm attended the University of Colorado. Grimm made his professional debut in the NFL in 1963 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1965 was Dan Grimm's best year.
