Born on May 1, 1964 in Mount Holly, New Jersey, Dan Gakeler (Daniel Michael Gakeler) played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 1 year career. Gakeler broke into the bigs on June 9, 1991 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 5.74 ERA in 73.2 innings pitched in 1991, his rookie year.
