Dan Footman (Dan Ellis Footman, Jr.) was born on January 13, 1969 in Tampa, Florida. After going to high school at Hillsborough (Tampa, FL), Footman attended Florida State University. Footman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1993 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1997 was Dan Footman's best year, as he recorded 10.5 sacks.
