Dan Briggs (Dan Lee Briggs) was born on November 18, 1952 in Scotia, California. He made his Major League debut on September 10, 1975 for the California Angels. In 1976, his rookie year, he hit .214 with 1 home run and 14 RBI. Briggs played for the California Angels, Cleveland Indians, San Diego Padres, Montreal Expos and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 7 year career.
