Born on March 22, 1953 in Sacramento, California, Dan Boitano (Danny Jon Boitano) played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Milwaukee Brewers, New York Mets and Texas Rangers over the course of his 5 year career. Boitano broke into the bigs on October 1, 1978 with the Philadelphia Phillies.
