Dan Bankhead

Born on May 3, 1920 in Empire, Alabama, Dan Bankhead (Daniel Robert Bankhead) played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 3 year career. Bankhead broke into the bigs on August 26, 1947 with the Brooklyn Dodgers, and put up a 5.50 ERA in 129.1 innings pitched in 1950, his rookie year.
