Damon Tassos (Damon G. Tassos) was born on December 5, 1923 in San Antonio, Texas. After going to high school at Thomas Jefferson (San Antonio, TX), Tassos attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Tassos made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1945 was Damon Tassos's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
