Dale Mitchell (Dale James Mitchell) was born on September 1, 1953 in Oceanside, California. After going to high school at Carlsbad (CA), Mitchell attended the University of Southern California. Mitchell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 2 year career.
