Dale Memmelaar (Dale Edward Memmelaar) was born on January 15, 1937 in Hawthorne, New Jersey. After going to high school at Central (Goshen, NY), Memmelaar attended the University of Wyoming. Memmelaar made his professional debut in the NFL in 1959 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Baltimore Colts, Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cardinals over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1960 was Dale Memmelaar's best year.
