Dale Carter (Dale Lavelle Carter) was born on November 28, 1969 in Covington, Georgia. After going to high school at Newton County (Covington, GA), Carter attended Ellsworth CC and the University of Tennessee. Carter made his professional debut in the NFL in 1992 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs, New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens, Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that 1992 was Dale Carter's best year, as he picked off 7 passes, ran back an interception for a touchdown and ran back 2 punts for touchdowns.
