Born on April 12, 1977 in Safford, Arizona, D.J. Carrasco (Daniel Carrasco) played for the Kansas City Royals for his entire 3 year career. Carrasco broke into the bigs on April 2, 2003 with the Kansas City Royals, and put up a 4.82 ERA in 80.1 innings pitched in 2003, his rookie year.
