Cyril Pinder (Cyril Calvin Pinder) was born on November 13, 1946 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After going to high school at Crispus Attucks (Hollywood, FL), Pinder attended the University of Illinois. Pinder made his professional debut in the NFL in 1968 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1970 was Cyril Pinder's best year, as he ran for 657 yards.
